Our carpet factory at Wiri is incredibly productive and we urgently need a Logistics Administrator& 2IC to coordinate the team despatching our carpet to our customers, in an organised and structured manner.

The role:

Full time, Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm, with some overtime and the occasional Saturday.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for despatch scheduling and ensuring that the correct product is delivered to the right customer on time, every time. 

You will also be responsible for managing the team in the Logistics Supervisors absence. This includes getting involved in all aspect of our warehouse operations, from driving a forklift to picking and despatching orders to housekeeping and promoting a safe work place.

About you:

You are an organised person, with good communication skills and the ability to work with and help lead the despatch team. You must also be able to work well with the wider customer services and logistics teams. You are reliable and have a responsible attitude to Health and Safety which is essential in our workplace.

You will also have:

  • Experience using despatch management software. 
  • Full drivers’ licence.
  • Forklift licence (ideally Counterbalance and Reach).
  • Knowledge of MPI requirements, preferably AP accredited.
