To continue our success, we have a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator to join our tissue converting team at our 24/7 Dunedin site.

The Opportunity
As a Machine Operator you are a valued contributor who will help us reach our operational goals. You are in a hands-on role where your primary focus is being able to safely and efficiently assist in the running the production area; converting raw materials into quality finished goods that our customers trust and love. You will:

• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times
• Operate manufacturing equipment
• Set up and changeover manufacturing equipment
• Complete quality checks
• Cleaning of equipment and housekeeping

About You

• Strong focus and awareness of workplace health and safety
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment or have an engineering qualification
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to work a rotating shift roster, working both days and nights
• Literacy and numerical skills
• Motivated with a hunger to learn new skills
• Reliability
• Have the ability to work autonomously, whilst being a great teammate and working towards achieving team goals

• $28.49 per hour starting rate - with ability to earn more as you gain more skills and experience and work your way up the grading system
