Job Description - Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and cut metal materials to specification
Interpret and understand blueprints and technical drawings to produce accurate product parts
Adjust machine settings to meet specification and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the press brake machine to ensure optimal performance
Follow all safety procedures to maintain the safe working environment
Work in collaboration with colleagues and supervisor team to meet production targets

To be successful in this role:

A passion for the engineering industry, with a good understanding of sheet metal and the use of press brake
Mechanically minded with a good understanding of the machine, with an ability to problem solve and work efficiently
Reliable transport
Physically fit and active
A desire to learn quickly, work autonomously and acquire other skills is advantageous
