Maintenance Builder/Project Manager - Start Immediately

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Builder/Project Manager to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of maintenance projects, overseeing construction activities, and effectively managing project timelines and budgets. Additionally, this role offers the potential for training towards and providing cover for our Project Management team.

Responsibilities:

• Quote, plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Procure materials and equipment required for construction projects, while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies throughout all project phases.

Qualifications:

• Qualified NZ Builder
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Builder, Project Manager, or similar role in the construction industry (preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Full NZ driver's license.
