Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician you will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests and staff.

Your working week (which will include weekend work) will look something like this:

• 4 x 10 hour shifts (these will be rostered across weekends also)
• 7.30 am starts, finishing at 6 pm
• Be prepared to cover not only hotel maintenance, but grounds, pool care, plant and machinery maintenance
• Servicing of equipment within and outside of the hotel, painting, building and repairing

Preferred experience and skills include:

• A minimum of 3 years relevant building maintenance experience
• Have been working in a trade for the last 12 months 
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable (own transport)
• Good understanding of our community
• Is a team player with adaptability and able to work under pressure
