Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician

About the Role
We are looking for someone with experience in optimizing production equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include installation, assembly, and adjustment of components, diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns, and contributing to the design or modification of equipment to expand manufacturing capacity and capability.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Providing engineering support and guidance to production staff, resolving technical problems related to equipment setup and operation.
• Conducting regular maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and production lines.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Performing measurements and tests to ensure equipment alignment, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide engineering support and problem-solving assistance.
• Contributing to the design and development of equipment to support new products and formulations.
• Managing and prioritizing non-urgent engineering project work.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment commonly used in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to assemble, install, and adjust equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
