Verkerks is a family-owned and Christchurch-based NZ company that has been producing quality salami for three generations.  We currently have 2 full-time roles available on our day shift, operating Monday to Friday, from 7am until 3.30pm. 

Based in Papanui, our factory has on-site parking and is only 15 minutes from most locations around Christchurch.  Early starts mean an early afternoon finish, so you get to finish while it’s still daylight, perfect for those who pick the kids up after school or want to make it on time for sports training.

Helping to produce our delicious salami and smallgoods products, you will work in a team in our Curing and Production department, performing a whole range of tasks from weighing and confirming meat inputs to operating our industrial filling lines and bowl choppers.  After a short time spent learning the basics, you will then begin to learn our more complex processes, and with each increase in your skill level, your pay increases.
