Job Description - Manufacturing Data & Performance Engineer

About the Role:


We’re looking for a data driven and commercially minded Manufacturing Data & Performance Engineer to help drive operational performance across our manufacturing environment. Working closely with Manufacturing and other internal teams, you’ll play a key role in developing performance metrics, improving reporting visibility, and identifying opportunities to optimise production performance. Key responsibilities -



  • Develop and maintain manufacturing performance metrics

  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools

  • Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to track performance improvements

  • Analyse production, labour, and material costs

  • Support production planning and capacity analysis

  • Ensure consistency, integrity, and standardisation of manufacturing data and reporting across the organisation


 


What You’ll Bring:



  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or production analytics

  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI

  • Understanding of manufacturing performance metrics and production operations

  • Strong attention to detail with high data accuracy standards

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or experience in manufacturing performance analytics
