Marketing Advisor

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Marketing Advisor to join our team within Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, to work across the range of Ngai Tahu Tourism businesses. Ngai Tahu Tourism operate ten attractions throughout Aotearoa, connecting domestic and international manuhiri (guests) with the people, land and stories of Ngai Tahu and Aotearoa. We take great pride in operating some of the most well-known attractions in Aotearoa, delivering exceptional experiences with the help of our amazing kaimahi (staff). We are now seeking a Marketing Advisor on a permanent basis to work with our internal team and Ngai Tahu Tourism businesses on all areas of the marketing mix. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and enjoying support from our wider team, we are seeking an experienced marketing professional who can keep up with multiple stakeholder needs and expectations. You'll work within a collaborative, values lead and supported environment, all while championing the organisational vision and delivering on our Ngai Tahu business needs. Key tasks will include knowledge and recommendations around branding and marketing opportunities, managing and supporting the implementation of marketing/campaign strategies, managing promotional collateral and digital marketing, graphic design management, and customer experience/stakeholder research and analysis. You will have : Ability to think strategically and innovatively about marketing strategy, project management and campaign delivery Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholder needs in a complex workplace Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and media Experience in Tourism Marketing is a bonus Natural orientation towards change, improvement, and innovation Proficiency in te reo Maori and tikanga or an eagerness to learn Familiarity with the Treaty of Waitangi and its application to the work of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu.
