About the role

Join our high-performing and collaborative Business Development, Marketing and Communications team as a Marketing and Communications Specialist! This will be a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. A critical role in our firm, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and content for strategic communications, marketing planning, campaign management, as well as digital marketing and EDM support.

Key accountabilities:

• Implement marketing communication strategies aligned to the firm's priorities, including relevant thought leadership and marketing campaigns.


• Implement the firm's Digital Marketing Strategy, including maintaining active social media channels and sourcing content.


• Manage communications to support strategic internal and external communication initiatives.


• Write/edit and publish updates and publications/newsletters about key firm news and new legislation.
  


• Monitor and report on website performance.


• Showcase the firm's outstanding legal work by drafting firm awards and directory submissions. 

About you

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proof-reading skills.


• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and desire to work in a team.


• Experience working on Digital Marketing, including social media.


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing or related business field.


• 5 + years working in PR, media, corporate or professional services environment is strongly preferred.


• Enjoy working with different technology platforms and embrace new IT systems and technology.


• Ability to think creatively and innovatively while having strong attention to detail with high standards in quality of work.


• Strategic thinker with a proven record in delivering strategically relevant projects.


• Commercial acumen – can quickly grasp issues and opportunities faced by clients and sectors.
