Marketing Assistant

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team at Bayleys Eastern Realty. In this role, you’ll support the Marketing Executive in delivering high-quality marketing solutions that enhance our brand visibility and support our sales agents across Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa.

This is a varied role that includes design, social media management, agent support, and assisting with publications. You’ll be based in Hawke’s Bay, with occasional travel between Napier and Havelock North.

Key Responsibilities

• Create brand-aligned designs using Canva, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign


• Monitor and update social media platforms under guidance


• Assist with marketing campaigns and strategies for listings and business growth


• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention marketing efforts


• Help agents and administrators navigate systems, marketing tools and templates


• Edit property photos and assist with publications when required


• Maintain up-to-date marketing resources, including national initiatives and pricing information

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office


• Experience in Property Suite ideal but not essential


• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines


• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset


• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
