- The Oyster Inn: is a much-loved beach-chic bistro, perched above Oneroa on Waiheke Island with gorgeous views across the bay.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Brand Manager to cover maternity leave, ensuring our marketing efforts continue seamlessly.
We will consider full time, part time and remote working options.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development
Develop and lead an annual marketing plan aligned with business objectives and market research.
Establish brand positioning through effective storytelling and creative choices across consumer channels (website, social media, press).
- Brand Awareness and Customer Loyalty
Create marketing strategies and calendars to enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty, promote restaurants and meet revenue goals.
Execute brand-aligned partnerships, special events and experiences to boost revenue and brand affinity.
- Performance Analysis and Optimisation
Analyse business performance and market dynamics to inform strategic adjustments.
Audit and optimise digital marketing channels (website, social media, SEO, PPC, newsletter) to drive engagement and reservations.
Track and report on marketing performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Brand Experiences and Promotions
Develop comprehensive social media advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and utilise Meta Ads Manager for targeted campaigns.
Manage retargeting campaigns and oversee email marketing, including lead generation and automated email sequences.
- Media and Public Relations
Manage media relations and PR agency partnerships.
Develop guest experience strategies and improve based on feedback.
Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and collateral across all touchpoints.
- Team and Creative Management
Manage a team of 2 - marketing assistant and administrator.
Maintain communication and relationships with key partners across the organisation.
Schedule photographers, create shot lists, and manage photo/video shoots.
- Reporting and Budget Management
Conduct marketing calls, prepare briefs, and produce reports for owners and board members.
Develop and manage marketing budget and P&L for cost-effective resource use.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in a Marketing Director or Brand Manager role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, verbal, written and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically on multiple projects.
