Job Description - Marketing Co-Ordinator

Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) Contract/Temp Add expected salary to your profile for insights This is a 6 Month Fixed Term opportunity for a Marketing Co-ordinator to join an excellent in-house Marketing team and to be part of the growth of the iconic brands, Hunter Home and La-Z-Boy, in both the New Zealand and Australia markets. This is a support role for all aspects of Retail Marketing – including campaign and promotional advertising, branding, product, communications and some digital. Join a successful marketing team in full growth mode. The Marketing Co-ordinator will sit within the marketing team and support the Marketing Specialist with the implementation of brand promotions, campaigns and projects, as well as assist the wider marketing team. The Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a detail orientated individual with a can-do attitude to support the Marketing Specialist deliver all Advertising and Marketing campaigns and promotions. You will be organised, enjoy working on a number of projects, be able to effectively multi-task and be committed to getting the job done to tight deadlines, all while having fun with a friendly, supportive and collaborative team. In this fast-paced role you will sit within the Marketing team, work across a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding and product, ensuringa consistent brand identity (across both brands) on all channels and marketing platforms. Responsibilities include: Co-ordinating the production workflow of all brand/s promotions, campaigns, activations and product launches in support of the Marketing Specialist (including timely & accurate briefing, workflow / deadline management and detail / proofing checks / content creation & copywriting). Support CMO and Marketing Specialist in organising various projects as required. Provide administration support of product to maintain marketing touch points and processes. Including but not limited to product meeting attendance / communication of tasks to wider Marketing team as needed and assisting with the collection of / organisation of product assets. Providing product support to our in-house digital marketing team for the transition of our brands onto new websites. This may include product copywriting, data administration, spec sheet development / maintenance, content checks, image resizing etc. Daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and co-ordination of the department's activities, including but not limited to creation and management of PO's and invoices, file organisation, updating workflow systems, creating jobs, spreadsheets, documents, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information. Support the wider business with marketing queries / requests alongside the Marketing Specialist Alongside the Marketing Specialist, co-ordinate our team as an effective & efficient internal agency. Be an active participator with new internal engagement platforms to live and breathe our company values. Provide clear and concise communication to stores and other stakeholders across the business and externally to ensure implementation and delivery of promotions.  Maintain brand framework and brand guidelines, tone of voice across all channels at all times.  Maintenance / organisation of templates, graphical assets and content for use in the marketing production process.  Collation of reports and campaign analysis and summarising for marketing team etc.  To undertake any other duties as allocated by the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Specialist, or executive stakeholders from time to time where suitable.  About you: You will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Marketing and/or similar retail role, and be eager to develop your career in this area. To be successful in the role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing). 1-2+ years' experience in a relevant role and/or retail environment is advantageous! Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.  Project and time management skills.  Excellent written skills for a variety of content creation.  Eager, enthusiastic team-player.  Graphic Design / Mac Operator experience would be advantageous. A customer focus (both external and internal customers to create loyalty).  Project and time management skills.  Outstanding skills using systems such as MS Word, Excel, Project Management Tools. A desire to solve problems on your own and within a team setting, along with a desire to learn from others and ask questions when needed.  Adaptable qualities, including a can-do attitude, learning on the fly and open to change.  You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply.
