Due to growth, we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join us at Trimax HQ in Tauranga. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working within our global marketing team, you’ll be responsible for promoting our products and the Trimax brand across the New Zealand and Australian markets.
You’ll put the customer at the centre by tailoring experiences that meet their needs, support the sales process and generate qualified leads. This role gives you the chance to experiment, test and adapt, with the guidance and flexibility to unleash your creativity and unique skillset within the business.
Our experienced team works hard and we’re proud to be recognised in the industry for developing forward-thinking products and marketing campaigns.
Your Role:
Conduct market visits with customers and sales staff to build a deep understanding of our products and brand
Collaborate with our in-house graphic designers and videographers to plan and coordinate the production of marketing assets including print, video, digital, and social content
Write press releases, web content and manage advertisement bookings
Coordinate our presence at tradeshows such as the NZ Fieldays and other local/international events
Maintain and grow our marketing databases while creating engaging, relevant content that builds strong connections and helps convert interest into qualified leads
Build relationships and provide marketing support to our dealer network
Contribute to marketing strategies and planning activities
Assess the success of marketing activities and provide regular reports on ROI
A small amount of domestic and international travel may be required
To be considered for the role you’ll need:
A tertiary qualification in marketing or related discipline
Demonstrated success in a similar role, ideally you’ll be ready to hit the ground running
A mechanical background, or a genuine interest in learning the technical details of our machinery
An outgoing personality with a strong desire to engage with customers and understand their needs
Knowledge and experience in digital marketing and social media platforms
Ability to work proactively and independently while staying aligned with team goals
A creative eye for design and the ability to write and produce technical copy
Ability to manage budgets and assess marketing ROI
Why this role:
This is a busy, hands-on position where no two days will be the same. You’ll need to roll up your sleeves, think on your feet, and keep a cool head under pressure. As this role services international markets, flexibility to occasionally connect outside standard working hours is also required.
