The Marketing Executive is responsible for the development and execution of our hotel's marketing campaigns with a main focus on Food & Beverage outlets for voco and Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, looking at Local Area Marketing, Partnerships, Content Management and supporting social media and Digital Marketing. The role works directly with the properties to ensure the marketing efforts are guest focused and content led. Through focused content strategies and strong digital deployment, the Marketing Executive will deliver to the hotels compelling marketing, driving property performance and strong returns with a core focus on direct channels. The candidate will be a knowledgeable in social media management and content creation to drive brand recognition, engagement and reach for new and current guests. Key Areas: Focus on Food & Beverage Digital Marketing Responsible for the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns under the direction of the General Manager and Head of Marketing and in coordination with the hotel teams. Help build and evolve the hotel brands and how we communicate them both locally and nationally. You will ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice and optimised for search and user experience. Handle local partnerships, sponsorships, events and sales activities to drive hotel awareness and direct business. Work with the hotel, Food & Beverage and Conference and Event teams to source content and promote offers and events. Work with external agencies (PR, Digital & Creative) to help build the always on campaign activity and produce promotional materials. Marketing administration activities including regular reporting and content management for the websites. Experience: Understanding of fundamental marketing principles. Strategic and tactical thinker Strong influencer and persuader Ability to work independently Computer literate with an array of Microsoft products and channels Ability to travel within New Zealand and to Australia when required. Ability to thrive in a competitive environment. Technology Proficient – be capable and comfortable with a variety of technology, as duties are carried out over the telephone, computer and various IT platforms.
