At Future Hospitality Group, we don’t do boring.
We create venues people talk about, bring energy to Queenstown, and deliver hospitality experiences that feel memorable, effortless, and a little bit iconic.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who brings big ideas, solid digital capability, and the organisation to make it all happen. You’ll help build brand energy both in-venue and online and turn that into real-world results: busy venues, strong engagement, and brands people recognise.
If you move fast, think smart, and love hospitality, you’ll fit right in.
The vibe
This role is hands-on, varied, and high-impact. You’ll work across multiple brands, campaigns, content, and launches, ensuring our marketing is consistent, well-executed, and effective.
You’ll work closely with our Marketing, Sales & Fulfilment Director, who provides overall strategy, direction and goals, and you’ll take the lead on execution and delivery.
What you’ll be doing
No two days look the same, but you’ll own the marketing essentials that keep our brands moving.
Campaigns & Promotions
- Bring marketing campaigns to life across digital, social, advertising, email and in-venue
- Ensure all output is polished, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard
Email Marketing & Database Management
- Design, write and schedule EDMs people actually want to open
- Track performance and continuously optimise
- Maintain and grow subscriber lists
- Keep data clean and well-segmented to drive stronger results
Website Management, Listings & Online Presence
- Keep FHG websites current and conversion-friendly (menus, events, venue updates, contact details)
- Ensure our venues show up beautifully wherever people search and book (Google, Destination Queenstown, BookMe, First Table, Red Balloon, travel sites and more)
- Help protect and build trust in our brands online
Social Media & Content
- Oversee FHG’s social presence and ensure every brand shows up sharp, current and consistent
- Brief campaigns to our in-house Content Creator, setting clear priorities and direction
Creative, Menus & Collateral
- Manage menu updates and production across venues
- Keep in-venue signage fresh, accurate and aligned with campaigns
- Project manage marketing collateral from concept to delivery
- Apply strong visual judgement and creative thinking to ensure everything looks premium and on-brand
You’ll love this role if you…
- Are proactive, quick, and naturally take ownership
- Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
- Have great taste and a sharp eye for detail and design
- Enjoy blending creativity with execution
- Love seeing your work out in the world, and packed venues as a result.
Ideally, you’ll bring
- Marketing experience (hospitality is a bonus, not essential)
- Strong writing skills that are clear, confident and natural
- Solid organisation and project management capability
- Confidence working across multiple brands and priorities
- A collaborative, positive, “let’s make it happen” mindset
- Creative confidence, an eye for layout, brand consistency, and visual storytelling
Strong digital skills are advantageous (but not essential), including:
- Email marketing platforms and reporting
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Digital advertising across Meta and Google
- Website / CMS updates
- Understanding of analytics, performance and conversion
