Marketing Manager (Circa 24Hrs)

Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) You Monkey is an Auckland-based toy and gift distributor that supplies retailers throughout New Zealand and Australia with games, puzzles, toys, gifts and homeware brands from all over the world. We have an opportunity for a passionate, ambitious Marketing Manager or Co-ordinator to join our team. As our Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for our B2B and B2C content creation. From copywriting to managing our social channels and email marketing and our wholesale and consumer platforms, you'll be the driving force behind our online presence. You would also use your Marketing and Brand knowledge to help find and drive sales opportunities.  We are ideally looking for someone 24 hours a week although we have flexibility with hours if someone is looking for slightly less or a few more hours. It's a varied and exciting role including the following: Digital Marketing & Social Media Creation B2B and B2C EDM design and application using Mailchimp. Creation and management of automated email Marketing flows. Management of Customer Image Library, Brand and Product Catalogue, B2B Wholesale Portal and Consumer Shopify Website. Planning and execution of our Social Media Accounts using Canva and Facebook Business Suite. Brand Management  Work directly with the Managing Director on assessing new brands for the NZ and Australian markets, and execution of new brand and product launches and ongoing brand growth. Create and maintain brand assets, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. Be a brand champion for each of our brand partners. Understand their products, how to play games, key selling points etc. Organisation of, and attendance at, yearly Gift and Toy trade shows showcasing our brands to retailers E-Commerce Driving B2C sales for our consumer website – strategy, design and execution Create weekly EDMs - using MailChimp Copywriting for online descriptions, ensuring consistency with brand language Assist in the creation and execution of product launch plans for key products or brands Monitor our B2B and B2C campaign performance and provide optimisation insights  Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years work experience High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and copywriting ability Technical marketing experience using Mailchimp (or something similar) for marketing automation, creation of email newsletters and database management A great understanding or experience with Social Media content creation ie Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok Excellent computer skills and previous experience with Facebook Business Manager, Canva, Powerpoint, Excel, Shopify, Wix, Sharepoint, Trello, CRM Experience in paid performance marketing and content building is preferable  Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team.
