Lamb Technicians – Permanent Full-Time

Fresh Meats NZ is a boutique, Napier-based lamb processor operating year-round and manufacturing products for both domestic and export markets. We are proud to be part of Integrated Foods Group, an international food processing and agribusiness with large-scale farming operations in Gisborne.

We operate an alternate-day processing schedule — primary processing (slaughter) one day and secondary processing (boning) the next. This provides variety and the opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of the plant.

We are seeking motivated and reliable Lamb Technicians to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, with an immediate start available. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 3.00pm. 

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced processing environment. Depending on the production schedule, duties may include primary processing on the slaughter floor, secondary processing including packing and product preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards in line with MPI and export requirements. You must follow all company health and safety procedures at all times.

Previous meat industry experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for the successful candidates.

• Have a positive & willing to learn attitude and work well within a team. 
• Be physically fit, reliable and hard working.
• Undertake pre-employment drug testing and a meat handler medical check.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
