The team at Aquafortus works with the biggest names in global industry.We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is primarily responsible for the design and development of the mechanical elements of the technology. The Mechanical Engineer will have accountability for design, development & assembly in areas of process and mechanical engineering for the purpose of advancing the company's technology and commercial success. This is a hands-on role, and you must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues. This is primarily an office and workshop-based role, based out of our Airport Oaks facility. You will also be required to travel nationally and internationally to client sites for extended periods of time.POSITION REQUIREMENTSThe successful candidates will have:A university degree in the field of mechanical engineeringA minimum of two years' relevant work experience1+ year design & mechanical engineering experienceExperience with CAD, FEA & CFD (Solidworks or similar CAD package preferred)Experience with machining & fabrication processesHands-on building, assembly & testing experienceExperience in producing reports, drawings, and design proposalsAn R&D application focus, with strong commercial acumen and excellent problem-solving skillsExcellent written English and oral communication skills for the preparation and presentation of reportsTeam player with a positive attitude and a propensity to learnIf this sounds like you, we are keen to have you join our trailblazing organisation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
