Mechanical Engineer (two roles available) - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Their specialist engineering team is experienced in farm and rural projects, including; farm water reticulation, effluent treatment, agricultural and pastoral irrigation, frost protection and land drainage.

AgFirst Engineering have 2 x Mechanical Engineer / Fabricator roles available. In these roles, practical experience is essential, as you will be involved in all aspects of the design, fabrication and installation of pipe and water infrastructure. 

What the role entails:

• Designing pipe and mechanical components for farm, rural and orchard engineering projects
• Ensuring you have the correct parts and consumables relevant to your role
• Completing fabrication and construction of relevant projects
• Being an effective team player, that has initiative 

The people we are looking for:

• Have previous practical experience in design, fabrication and installation of similar systems or projects
• Can create clear, accurate and practical designs 
• Can fabricate and install mechanical parts with high accuracy and precision 
• Sound understanding of relevant parts and consumables 
• Can complete ordering and stock inventory for their applicable parts and consumables 
• Can work cohesively within their team
• Has effective communication
