Job Description - Mechanical/Process Technician

The team at Aquafortus works with the biggest names in global industry.We are currently seeking a Mechanical/Process Technician to join our Engineering team. This role will be part of the engineering team and will be primarily responsible for the development, construction, and assembly of the mechanical elements of the company's technology. The Mechanical/Process Technician will have accountability for fabrication, construction, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting in areas of process and mechanical engineering for the purpose of advancing the company's technology and commercial success.You must be able to hit the ground running and be able to identify and help provide reasonably reliable solutions for all commonly encountered technical issues in work tasks. This is primarily an office and workshop-based role, based out of our Airport Oaks facility. You will also be required to travel nationally and internationally to client sites for extended periods of time.POSITION REQUIREMENTSRelevant technical training or tertiary qualifications.3+ years' work experience in relevant roles.Experience with machining & fabrication processes.Hands-on building, assembly, installation and troubleshooting experience.Ability to read engineering drawings and understand engineering principles.Strong hands-on skills and excellent problem-solving skills.Knowledge of tools and machines safety.Adaptable and able to deliver under tight deadlinesTeam player with excellent written and oral communication skills in English.If this sounds like you, we are keen to have you join our trailblazing organisation.
