Medical Centre Assistant

One of our lovely team members is leaving and we are seeking:

An experienced Medical Centre Assistant / Health Care Assistant to join our general practice team based in Botany Junction, East Tamaki.  We are looking for a person to work between 32 to 40 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Our ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, be enthusiastic and proactive to take on a range of tasks to keep the practice organised, supporting exceptional customer service and efficient patient flow.

Essential Competencies:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours (by mutual agreement).
• A NZ drivers' license.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language.

Preferred:

• Successful completion of a Health Care Assistant, Care Givers or related course.
• Previous experience in a similar health related role.
