About the role | Mō te tūranga:
Our Histology Department is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and competent Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our team at Wellington Hospital.
As part of the Histology team, you will carry out a range of laboratory duties with accuracy and efficiency while developing your technical and professional skills. You will be comfortable working independently as well as contributing to a collaborative team environment.
We are looking for people who are organised, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining high standards. A friendly and professional approach is important, along with a focus on providing excellent service and contributing to quality patient outcomes.
This is an opportunity to develop your expertise and contribute to a busy and supportive laboratory environment.
We have multiple permanent positions available on a rostered and rotating schedule including day shift 7am or 9am starts, Late shift 2pm - 11pm (with 1hr lunch), overnight shifts (22:30 Sunday - 07:00 Friday or 22:45 - 7:15am Friday), and part-time evening.
