About the position

We are seeking a fulltime or near fulltime Medical Receptionist to join our team and work across our General Practices, Urgent Cares and Call Centre.

This role requires an experienced, competent and motivated individual who is customer service focused and able to respond efficiently to our clients needs.

You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional accuracy and high attention to detail. 

Your roster will by a hybrid mix of various shift types: some will be fixed and others will be to provide on-call cover, as needed on the day. So, a high level of flexibility is required for this role on certain days.

To be successful you must

• Eligible to work in New Zealand
• Must be able to work flexible hours (anywhere from 7am-11pm) including weekdays and alternate weekends as per a rotational roster
• Have a car and drivers licence as you will be expected to cover all clinic locations as needed
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Possess a talent for multi-tasking
• Have the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekdays, afterhours and alternate weekends
• Able to work at all locations
• Contribute towards equitable health outcomes 
• Medtech Evolution experience preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a Medical Reception role or busy customer service environment is preferred 
• Be available to work to work full time for the initial 6 week orientation
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a variable workflow environment, build strong report with team members, have good interpersonal skills, and a positive “can do” attitude.
