Totally Vets is a dynamic Veterinary company, providing services and products in the Manawatu, King Country, Horowhenua and Tararua areas for companion animals, equine, and production animals.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Mixed Animal Veterinarian.  You will be based out of our Taumarunui clinic, which services the King Country and Ruapehu areas.

We are seeking a veterinarian who enjoys variety in their work, comprising of Sheep and Beef as well as small animal and includes participation in the after-hours roster which is shared with another local clinic.

• Confidence to work independently in a busy practice


• Good time management and proven organisational skills


• Displays great interpersonal skills to build relationships

Taumarunui is situated only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski field - one of NZ's largest ski areas, and the Tongariro National Park – a World Heritage Area which boasts one of the best one-day treks in New Zealand, the Tongariro Crossing. Other activities in the surrounding area include mountain biking the 42 Traverse, kayaking or canoeing the Whanganui River, trout fishing in nearby Tūrangi, or water-skiing, kayaking and sailing on the Great Lake Taupo.
