Mobile Patrol Officer - Christchurch

is seeking a proactive, reliable individual for our Mobile Patrol Officer

This full time role will be working on a 6 days on 3 days off roster, with a mixture of evening and night shifts. The successful candidate must have full availability to work any day of the week on this roster pattern. 

Key
Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned premises, including
  commercial sites, retail centre's, and public spaces


• Perform lock and unlock procedures, perimeter checks, and internal
  inspections as required


• Respond rapidly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
  across multiple sites


• Accurately record and report incidents, safety hazards, and
  maintenance issues


• Act as a visible deterrent to unauthorised access, theft,
  vandalism, and anti-social behaviour


• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service to clients, tenants, and
  members of the public


• Uphold Red Badge Group’s values, professional standards, and health
  & safety protocols

Requirements:

• Current, clean full NZ driver’s licence


• Demonstrated reliability and a strong sense of responsibility


• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to
  changing situations


• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and calmness under
  pressure


• Flexibility for rostered shifts, including nights, weekends, and
  public holidays


• Previous experience in mobile patrol, static security, or customer
  service is an advantage


• Strong observation, reporting, and risk assessment skills


• Eligible to work in New Zealand and at least 18 years of age


• Hold, or be able to obtain, a current NZ COA (Certificate of
  Approval) security licence


• Physically fit and able to perform mobile patrol and site checks
  throughout the shift
