Job Description - Motor Assessor (Hamilton based)

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a cost efficient and timely experience for our customers with a focus on the quality of repair. You will create great customer experiences and supplier relationships and be part of an environment that strives towards continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone that is looking to develop their career in the motor industry and is either a fully qualified Motor Assessor or an Estimator/Manager, or someone who is interested in coming off the tools and being involved in the assessment of damaged vehicles.

What else will you be doing?

  • Assessing damaged motor vehicles (digitally or in the field).
  • Managing the timeframes of the vehicle repair.
  • Post repair quality inspections.
  • Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. Overtime is generally available throughout the busy periods, although not mandatory.

Experience you'll bring:

  • Previous experience covering all aspects of damaged vehicle repair (including quoting).
  • A relevant Trade qualification is required for this role. An example is Level 4 in Collision Repair or Automotive Refinishing.
  • Problem solving attitude and true team player - a 'can do' attitude is key.
  • Assessing experience is desired but not mandatory.
  • Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritise and juggle tasks.
  • Holding a current full driver's license.
