Job Description - National Account Manager

We are eager to add a strategic National Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Build People Ltd in East Tamaki, Auckland.

My client is part of the whole glass process, being the largest supplier and manufacturer of glass in New Zealand! With a real passion for their product, they continue to lead the way in terms of quality and innovation.
  
On their behalf, I am delighted to bring this exciting newly created role for their business to market! They are looking for a National Account Manager to establish and grow key relationships across the Group Housing market. 
  
About the role:
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with Builders/GHBs
  • Securing regional and national supply agreements
  • Representing the brand and being the main point of call for technical product inquiries and advice 
  • Providing product and sales training and merchandise assistance where required
  • Increasing brand awareness and bringing new customers and projects on board
  • Actively engaging with customers and building strong relationships with existing customers
  • Becoming a key contact within the building industry
About you:
  • You are an experienced sales professional from the building industry, with a proven track record of growing and driving sales
  • You have a strong network and existing key relationships with Builders/GHBs
  • You have excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate project specifications effectively and win projects
  • You have a pure HUNTER mentality with proven networking and relationship management capability
  • You have solid business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset – that will go a long way in this role as there is plenty of room to grow and develop through the business
