Job Description - National Accounts Manager


Location:  Auckland


Type of Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the role


This is a true National Accounts Manager role where you will get the chance to influence strategy, lead important commercial conversations, and build partnerships that deliver long-term growth. You’ll work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, drive national customer plans, manage our wholesaler partners and help bring DB’s ambition to life in market. If you thrive on winning new business, growing strategic partnerships, and turning commercial plans into real results, this could be your next big move.


 


What you will be doing:



  • Lead the strategy for national accounts and key growth partnerships

  • Drive acquisition, retention, and contract renewal activity

  • Manage RFPs, negotiations, and commercial agreements

  • Build strong joint business plans with key customers and wholesale partners

  • Work closely with Field Sales teams to ensure brilliant execution in market

  • Deliver performance across volume, revenue, and margin

  • Contribute as an active member of the On-Premises Leadership team


 


What you’ll bring



  • Strong commercial and sales capability

  • Ability to get internal stakeholders working together.

  • Experience in National Account Management

  • Proven success in negotiation and business development

  • Confident working across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical capability and commercial judgement

  • FMCG or liquor industry experience is highly regarded
