National Manager - Career Growth Potential

About the Role:

In this newly created role, we are seeking a seasoned sales leader to manage all regional sales executives to manage investor relationships across NZ. In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for capital raising from wholesale investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals through effective market coverage and managing high quality leads. Leading a team of sales executives, you will drive the growth of capital funds and foster lasting relationships with investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
• Capital Raising: Develop and execute strategies to raise capital investments, setting and monitoring performance targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with investors, financial advisors, and partners, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Fund Growth and Development: Drive the growth of existing capital funds and explore opportunities to launch new funds, collaborating with the investment team.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all capital-raising activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Sales Leadership Tactical Competencies needed:

• Customer Experience: Coach team to provide outstanding customer experiences, leading to repeat business and referrals.
• Team Motivation: Maintain a motivated sales organization, setting high expectations and continually raising the bar.
• Strategic Thinking: Formulate plans to achieve company goals, adapting to change and embracing existing best practices.
• Consultative Sales Process: Follow a structured process to understand customer needs and deliver consistent results.

Role requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully raising capital and managing high-value client relationships.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
