About the role

On the back of some significant client wins and growth within our existing client base, we have an exciting new opportunity based in Wellington for an experienced LAN Network Engineer.

In terms of the role specifics, 50% of your time will be based on the client site, the remaining time will be spent will supporting a variety of inflight and new projects and post implementation technical support across the wider Cello client base.

We are keen for the successful candidate to hit the ground running, you will be able to work independently, without supervision and be confident talking to clients; however you will be supported by the wider Team. 

Key Functions of this Role

• Cisco Identity Services Engine
• Cisco DNAC
• Cisco Meraki technology experience 
• HPE Aruba technology experience 
• LAN / WLAN  
• Other related networking and or industry knowledge, understanding the fundamentals, with the qualifications, certifications and in job experience to support this.
• This role will occasionally require afterhours work which will be appropriately compensated.

About You

• 5+ years in a network related role.
• Strong understanding of network solutions.
• Experience with Fortinet technologies highly desirable.
• Proven documentation experience, working with both a business and technical lens. 
• Proven ability to prioritise activities and manage timelines to meet business needs. Excellent communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Focused on continual learning, development, and personal growth.
• Authentic person with active listening skills and a friendly professional demeanour.
• General knowledge of the wider IT ecosystem – such as servers, virtualization/cloud platforms, applications, identity, and other supporting infrastructure is an advantage.
• You are required to hold a current full driver's license and be a New Zealand resident or citizen and have a clear MoJ check.
• We are 100% covid vaccinated company, so you will also need to be vaccinated to join the Team.
