WE’RE HIRING: SOC Analyst | Cybersecurity Operations

Auckland, New Zealand | 4 days on, 4 days off | ⏰ 10-hour shifts

We’re looking for a curious, analytical SOC Analyst to join a Digital global security team, helping detect, investigate and respond to evolving cyber threats.

What you’ll be doing:

• 
  

  Monitoring and investigating security alerts using SIEM, EDR/XDR and IDS tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Analysing network traffic, system activity and potential threats.

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting incident response, threat containment and remediation.

  
  


• 
  

  Improving detection rules, security processes and defensive capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Producing clear incident reports and sharing knowledge across the team.

  
  


• 
  

  Staying ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques.

  
  

What we’re looking for:

• 
  

  Previous SOC or security operations experience (essential).

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR and cybersecurity technologies.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking and traffic analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience across multiple operating systems and system hardening.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for cyber defence.

  
  

⭐ Stand out with:
Experience with SOAR, WAF, NDR, Python, PowerShell or certifications such as BTL1 or GCIA.
