Night Manager / Night Shuttle Driver

Location: Mangere, Auckland (14 Airpark Drive, Airport Oaks)
Employment Type: Full-time permanent position 
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week, on a rotating
roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday. 
Shift Times:  11:00pm - 7:30am, comprising of X2 Night Manager shifts, and X2 Shuttler Driver shifts.
Wage Rate: $27.50 per hour

Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality and a knack for leadership? Look no further! Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport is seeking a dedicated Night Manager / Night Shuttle Driver to oversee our operations during the night-time hours.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervision and oversight of night shifts, including meeting and greeting guests arriving late, security, and administrative tasks.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Driving guests to/from the airport in the hotel shuttle van.
• Maintaining cleanliness inside/outside of the hotel shuttle van.
• Oversight of security of the hotel property, and reporting any incidents or concerns to Management.
• Perform night audit and reconcile transactions from the Front Office and Food & Beverage departments. Locate and correct any discrepancies.
• Prepare Front Office for the morning shift, and clean the reception and public areas, emptying rubbish etc.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
• An LCQ qualification, current Managers Certificate, and a current First Aid certificate would be advantageous. 
• A full NZ Drivers License is required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
