The Nurse Educator NETP is a key member of the Te Whatu Ora NelsonMarlborough’s strategic development workforce team.
Thisdistrict-wide role will work collaboratively alongside all areas, within ourregion, that have employed a New Entry to Practice (NETP) nurse including primaryhealth organisations, secondary services, Māori health providers and aged care facilities.
As a Nurse Educator NETP - you will be pivotal in the professionaldevelopment of our new graduate workforce. You will lead the development of this new role and will support the transition to competence for our newpractitioners.
You will coach and educate staff to their best potential resulting inimproved experiences forour health consumers. You will work alongside the nursing and clinical teamsto lead and develop ongoing educational strategies that develop the confidenceand competence of our graduates in their first year of practice.

The salary for this designated senior nurse position is Grade 2 ($112,660 to $123,955) based on the current NZNO MECA and registration in New Zealand.
