We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Nurse Lead to join the team at Waihi Beach Medical Centre where delivering Whānau centric care is at the heart of what we do!

We are looking for more than just a Nurse Lead, we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their community and is passionate about empowering a community to improve its health outcomes. We need someone who is up for a challenge and can take the role and make it their own. The role is permanent part time working up to 24 hours per week. The hourly rate will reflect the qualifications of the successful applicant.

• Have experience within the Primary Health Care sector


• Be an independent vaccinator & cervical smear taker


• Have a current annual practising certificate


• Have an understanding or be willing to grasp an understanding of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and other cultural competencies.


• Have the ability to maintain high standards of clinical services


• Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a busy team environment


• Be computer literate with experience in PMS, MS Office


• Be enthusiastic and have ability to be a team player


• Strong time management and communication skills
