We are proud of our reputation of providing excellent care for our local residents and visitors to Motueka and surrounding areas.We are a caring, friendly team and offer a great working environment with ongoing learning and development opportunities and competitive pay rates.About the roleWorking closely with the General Manager, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the nursing and HCA team to develop and maintain a culture of excellence in patient care.From coordinating the day-to-day provision of the nursing services in our community, to developing and implementing new services, as well as contributing to the management team, this role is a great mix of operations and strategy.Whilst you will primarily focus on leadership and development of the team and nursing services, there is an opportunity to undertake clinical work depending on skills, experience, and interests.About youDemonstrated strong leadership, mentoring and management skills (desirable)A passion for Primary Care with previous experience (desirable)Highly developed communication/interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAbility to provide strategic direction and nursing workforce developmentExcellent organisational skills and can effectively manage multiple and at times competing prioritiesStrong work ethic and leads by example with a hands on approachAbility to coordinate, motivate and develop a cohesive nursing teamYou hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate (essential)You bring clinical excellence and a passion for improving the health of the communityThis role offers 25-35 hours per week (we're offering more hours if you're keen to take on additional clinical shifts).For further information about the role or to have a confidential discussion, you are welcome to phone Sarah Satherley, General Manager on**How do I apply?#J-18808-Ljbffr
