Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Thames

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide whānau-centred, culturally appropriate, and individual holistic care to whānau that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.

Our Whānau Health Centre's provide primary health care services (including long term conditions community services), primary mental health services, school nursing and Tamariki Ora nursing services. Almost half of our patients enrolled in our 4 VLCA practices identify as Māori.

You will work with the administrators, nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, support workers and other staff across Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki to deliver services to whānau. 

Working within their scope of practice, the Nurse Practitioner will provide nurse practitioner services to clients and whānau across the life span. The position will work closely with clinic team members, PHO/ DHB colleagues and other Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki services, to ensure client/whānau health needs are met.

The position is also responsible for ensuring Nurse Practitioner services are evidenced-based, meet sector standards; ensuring services are delivered professionally and of the highest quality to meet funder and contract requirements.
