About The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales - Australasia, the primary function of the Sales & Channel Partnerships Manager will be leading the NZ sales team (consisting of inbound sales representatives and business development executives) and developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role will form part of the senior leadership team within Auckland and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic sales strategy and ensuring alignment with Corpay objectives. This position requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:

  • Optimise new business revenue and volume through effective account management for the first 12 weeks
  • Deliver high quality calls and written communications with customers to required standards
  • Propose customer focused solutions
  • Accurately record all contact and conversations with customers in the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Maximise conversion rates of data and leads within KPIs and SLAs
  • Work collaboratively across all sites and business areas to help foster a supportive team culture
  • Understand all KPIs, prioritise and achieve on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Create a positive working environment, demonstrating Corpay’s core values and professional behaviors

About You

This is a leadership role that requires dedication and focus. We are looking for an inspiring leader who thrives off supporting and motivating their team at every opportunity. You must have demonstrated experience working as a manager in a sales environment with at least 4 years of team leadership experience. This role will suit someone who is a strong negotiator with excellent communication skills who is naturally results focussed and can perform well under pressure whilst maintaining a level of high standard. Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential and knowledge of Salesforce CRM is preferred. Previous card sector experience or experience in fuels, oil and/or energy sector, payments, credit or debit card services would be highly advantageous.
