Office Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Office Administrator to support our cropping farm operation in South Canterbury.  The role requires a person who understands farming accounts, has attention to detail and great administrative skills.  

It's expected the role will be up to 20 hours a month, based 15 minutes north of Timaru, however work may also be performed remotely through the month.  

Working directly with the Owner the successful person will be responsible for:

• Bank Reconciliation/Coding using accounting software 
• GST Reporting and IRD Payments 
• Accounts Receivable/Payable
• General finance & office support

The ideal applicant will need: 

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices, accounting software, and/or with farm accountancy 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving\ skills
• Ability to collaborate with the advisory team and other professionals to support the business  
• A positive attitude & contentious work ethic 
• An understanding of arable cropping is desirable but not essential

This role is open to those who have NZ Residency or an existing valid NZ Work Permit.
