With the continued growth of our company, this is an exciting opportunity to come and be a part of our great team. We are looking to employ someone in an office administrator role in our Auckland office.
As the successful applicant, you will need to:
• Have previous experience working in a similar position.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Be willing to learn and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Have at least an intermediate level skill set with Microsoft Office – with the main focus on Excel and + Word (this is essential).
• Have excellent communication skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Have great customer service skills for greeting and dealing with visitors to our site.
• Have strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload.
• Have exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Be a great team player and able to support other staff where necessary.
• Having some experience with MYOB EXO financial system would be a bonus – however, training in this will be provided.
Your key responsibilities would be, assisting with but not limited to:
• Managing main reception/front desk – greeting and inducting visitors onto our site such as customers, suppliers, contractors and other personnel who visit our site.
• Answering phones and directing calls through to the correct team member and able to pass on a messages if needed.
• Basic computer skills such as scanning of documents, filing and updating information.
• Managing and tracking transport bookings.
• Processing of sales and purchases through MYOB EXO system.
• Understanding exports and be able to update the relevant documentation and ensure that drivers have the correct documentation needed.
• Checking correct information on dockets received from yard.
• Processing of sales and purchases through MYOB EXO system.
• Entry and maintenance of Customer ID register.
• Assisting with managing our online information management system.
• General office filing, plus, any other general office duties as required.
This position will suit someone who is well organised, a fast learner and loves a challenge.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday (8.00 – 5.00pm) with rostered Saturday’s required once training is complete. Immediate start is preferable. Remuneration will be dependent on level of experience.
