Summerset Waikanae is preparing to open its brand-new facilities next year – a premium facility set in a beautiful, established village that will soon be the heart of aged care in the region. This is a unique opportunity to lead from day one, and join us now as our Office Manager.

Job Description

We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart! Our Office Manager is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the residents and their families.  Reporting to the Village Manager you will be a key member of the Leadership Team helping to set the culture and direction of the developing village. 

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Provide efficient and timely administration, management support and document control to both the Village and Care Centre
  • Superb customer service at reception for our customers, residents, the village management team and staff
  • Back-office functions such as invoicing, outstanding debtors, purchase orders, staff files, newsletters and diary management for the Village Manager
  • Supporting our care centre with resident information, clinical files, temp agency staffing and reporting
  • Ensuring the Village office is managed in a professional and friendly manner helping operate the smooth day to day running of the village

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

As an experienced office manager, you will be no stranger to setting up the rhythms of a new office, ensuring policies, procedures and a seamlessly run office and front of house reception are humming.

You will be:

  • A customer service superstar with a strong administration background ideally in a sole charge Office Administration role
  • Proven abilities in accounts/financial management, reconciliations, database management and providing administrative support to a management team
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and time management
  • Someone who is able to work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday
