Onerahi Family Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team and help deliver high-quality care within our community.

This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity with diverse and exciting clinical responsibilities. Our nursing team collaborates closely to provide patient-centred care, ensuring each day is unique and fulfilling. Responsibilities include phone and in-person triage, nurse-led clinics for acute and chronic conditions, intravenous therapy, immunisations, and many other tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Primary health care nursing duties (including wound care and patient education)
+ Adult and childhood immunisations
+ Blood tests

Professionalism, sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality are essential when interacting with colleagues and patients.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

+ Highly organised and action-oriented
+ A commitment to the principles and practice of health equity and a desire to constantly upskill

Required Qualifications:

+ Current APC that allows you to practice as a nurse in NZ
+ Current CPR certificate
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Authorisation to administer vaccinations

Preferred (but not essential) Skills:

+ Experience using PMS (Medtech Evolution)
+ Smear taker (or open to training)

Our ideal candidates will work full-time hours, with the pay rate dependent on experience level per the NZNO MECA.
