We’re looking for an office admin/receptionist superstar to support our growing team in Wellington CBD

The successful applicant will join our Service Delivery Team and will manage our reception and provide administrative support to our team of IT professionals. To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to work under pressure, with a friendly, positive, ‘get stuff done’ attitude.

About us

Bastion is the recently formed group of ZX Security, Quantum Security, Helix Security and Cassini. We offer a wide range of cyber security consulting services to a large proportion of New Zealand and international businesses. The work we do helps secure critical infrastructure, banks, telcos, the energy sector and technology companies. 

The role

This is a fast-paced and varied role that is integral to the successful running of our busy office and, as such, the role is primarily based in the office.

You will experience plenty of variety in the role and duties include:

  • Managing office supplies and services.
  • Ensuring the office is clean, tidy and organised.
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to administrative requests from the team.
  • Reception duties, such as greeting visitors and dealing with incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Organising and coordinating meetings and events, including team offsite days, annual Christmas party and employee functions.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for employees.
  • Providing support to other internal teams, including the Executive team, People and Culture, and Service Delivery.

What we’re looking for

These are the main skills and attributes we’re looking for:

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse teams.
  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise important tasks.
  • A focus on providing great customer service to our team members and our clients.
