About the company

Liquid Electrical is part of the Liquid Group and has been operating since 2012. The team work in a variety fields including multi unit new build homes, high end custom built homes, cell tower installations across the country, highrise carpark maintenance and aquatic pool plant services.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a diverse skill set to hit the ground running and fine tune systems and processes before working with the owners in scaling the business over the coming years. 

The position is based at our office in Albany North Shore Auckland.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Reporting to the Directors of Liquid Group, the Operations Manager takes overall accountability for the effective and efficient running of the business operations. 
  • Lead Health and Safety through a strong safety culture.
  • Structure and Process Optimisation: Skilled in structuring and optimising processes. Your ability to streamline operations, improve efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement will contribute to our overall effectiveness and profitability.
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Creating and managing budgets.
  • Improving revenue.
  • Hiring employees.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, encourage creativity, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Analyzing accounting and financial data.
  • Identify business opportunities with new and existing clients and customers.
  • Manage sales, contract and tender submissions
  • Build company image and presence in the market, cultivating key stakeholder and business relationships.

Qualifications & experience

  • A very down to earth, collaborative and practical style, willing to roll up your sleeves;
  • A strong people focus with a track record of successfully leading, developing and mentoring them;
  • Good networking, business development, marketing and relationship building skills;
  • Good working knowledge of business processes, Health and Safety, HR, IT, CRM and financial systems, with experience ensuring consistency across operations.
  • Able to quote projects from plans and specification. (Katipolt platform)
  • Strong communicator with empowerment skills
  • Experience within the Electrical, Build / Construction Industry would be beneficial.
