About the role:
As the Operations Manager, you are responsible for the operations of the business to ensure customers receive their products and services on time, to quality specification and budget, while ensuring the business meets internal key performance indicators.
You will optimise workflows and integrate sales, operations, and customer fulfilment with a focus on production and productivity improvements promoting continuous improvement with Lean principles.
You'll simplify processes, establish scalable systems, and deliver targeted revenue and gross profit from operations. You’ll take ownership of health & safety, quality, and environmental obligations to ISO standards and de-risk critical areas of the business.
You are to ensure role clarity and accountability, develop the Employee Net Promoter Score, and lead strategic cadence of meetings to execute the Value Creation Plan. Your role demands humility, continuous learning, and strategic insight to align operations with the company goals.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- From a similar role in a $30m (or more) T/O company.
- Have project, jobbing, or service experience preferably in engineering.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in operational leadership.
- Exhibit humility, drive, and intelligence, always learning and finding ways to do better.
- Proven track record in optimising workflows with a focus on productivity improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in change leadership that influences culture and improves competencies
- Natural integrator that removes obstacles, resolves issues, and takes advantage of opportunities.
- Someone who values safety and quality and is dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset.
