Operations Manager - Nelson - Hiring Now

FIRST Security Guard Services Ltd is a proud member of the Wilson Security Group. Wilson Security is one of Australasia's largest and most experienced Security organisation specialising in all aspects of Security Services. 

We are currently recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to take over the daily running of our Nelson Branch. 

This is a dynamic role with varying daily challenges, as you would expect in a service industry. 

You may be a leader already, engaging and supporting a team as well as the wider business, delivering on agreed business targets or a supervisor looking to take the next step and utilise your knowledge and experience at a operational management level. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Lead the team by providing operational advice, counsel and direction 
• Guide the direction of the team consistent with the companies vision and values 
• Accountable for the Health & Safety performance within the business unit 
• Direct all operational aspects of the business unit 
• Analysis current process and plans to ensure continuous business and performance improvements 
• Monitor Business Unit to ensure financial control 
• The Business unit adheres to the clients/sites contractual obligations 

Must haves: 

• Operations management experience (Security Advantageous) 
• Proven ability to lead a team 
• Experience working in highly complex environments 
• High levels of ethics 
• Flexibility 
• High quality work standards 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Demonstrates good judgment and problem solving abilities
