Operations Programmer

We are looking for a Programmer/Planner to join our Operations team in a newly established position in Palmerston North. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who holds an Engineering or Project Management qualification and has prior experience in road construction.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be the go-to person for preparing and monitoring programmes of work for projects across the region. This role will also be the Procore Superuser within region, providing support to operations where required.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Prior experience as a programmer/planner in roading construction is essential
• Ideally you will have related tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management
• Experience working through all stages of a project including the support of bids and submissions through to the successful transition to project
• In-depth experience of industry programming software, e.g. P6, MS Project
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines
• Highly organised, ability to prioritise with excellent communication skills
