We now have exciting fixed-term opportunities for E-Bike Operators to join our team in stunning Queenstown and Wānaka!

Love being outdoors and making a difference? This could be the role for you.

As an E-Bike Operator, you’ll ride a custom-built electric tricycle to monitor and report on rubbish, glass, and recycling collected from public bins in high-traffic areas. Along the way, you’ll engage with the community and help promote waste minimisation and sustainability.

This fixed-term role runs until Easter 2026. Hours of work are:

• Queenstown: 15 or 20 hours per week (3–4 afternoons, 5 hours each)
• Wānaka: 15 hours per week (3 afternoons, 5 hours each)

If you’re looking for full-time work, we can also offer a split role: mornings at our recycling centre, afternoons as an E-Bike Operator.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Enjoys interacting with people and has a customer-focused mindset
• Is physically active, hands-on, and tech-savvy
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has a positive attitude and wants to make a real impact in the community

Previous customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential.
