Our Organisational Development team is evolving, and we are making an investment in a cohesive, future-focused Organisational Development capability agenda to support organisational performance, workforce sustainability, and long-term impact.
As part of this direction, the OD Consultant contributes to the design and delivery of complex organisational development and capability initiatives. Working in partnership with OD Managers, the role applies diagnostic insight, facilitation expertise, and sound judgement to shape approaches and deliver outcomes that strengthen organisational performance and workforce capability.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
Alongside this transformation, we are seeking an Organisational Development (OD) Consultant to deliver and contribute to complex organisational development, learning, and capability initiatives across the University.
This role focuses on translating OD strategy and frameworks into effective delivery, working closely with OD Managers to progress defined priorities, while also engaging directly with stakeholders to shape and refine solutions where required.
In this role, you will:
Working on initiatives led by OD Managers, you’ll be responsible for progressing delivery and contributing to the overall quality and impact of outcomes.

Please note this is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) position, with a salary range of $87,000 - $118,000 depending on skills and experience.

You are an experienced organisational development practitioner with a strong track record in delivery, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. Comfortable working in complex organisational settings, with the ability to assess needs, structure work clearly, and deliver outcomes within defined parameters.
