As an OSPRI Support Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of our customers and supporting the people within our Support Centre. As the senior member of the team, you’ll bring together technical expertise, customer insight, and a genuine commitment to service excellence.

You’ll be the go-to person for complex queries and escalations, helping farmers and industry partners navigate challenging situations with clarity and care. You’ll also be a key contributor to improving how we work — identifying patterns in customer interactions, strengthening our knowledge base, and supporting the development of tools, training, and processes that make life easier for both our customers and our team.

Our Support Centre is a place where everyone’s ideas matter. You’ll have opportunities to get involved in projects, influence how we evolve our service practices, and help build a culture that is positive, collaborative, and high performing.

Kōrero mōu – About you:

We’re looking for someone who brings both heart and expertise - someone who can navigate complexity with calm, who cares deeply about getting things right, and who takes pride in helping others succeed.

Your resilience, adaptability, and attention to detail will help you manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service. You’ll be someone who builds trust easily, communicates with clarity, and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

In this role, deep expertise matters, but humility and a commitment to continuous growth matter even more. The ideal candidate stays curious, seeks feedback, and embraces the opportunity to evolve. We value people who push themselves to learn, adapt, and elevate themselves every day.

You’ll embody the spirit of Kotahitanga – Stronger Together, contributing to a culture where knowledge is shared, people feel supported, and customer experience is at the centre of everything we do.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • Strong presence and visibility, you will be responsive, reliable, and consistently available to support both customers and colleagues when it matters most.

  • A knack for spotting opportunities and suggesting improvements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with a range of stakeholders.

  • A collaborative style, working across teams to align customer service, operations, and enablement.

  • Experience contributing to training, knowledge management, or service improvement initiatives.

  • Strong customer service performance, including managing complex issues and escalations.

  • Resilience, adaptability and be calm under pressure.

  • High integrity and professionalism, especially when handling sensitive matters.

  • A strong brand as a team player who contributes to a positive workplace culture.

  • Willingness to mentor and share knowledge to strengthen the team.
